Conferences & Events
The annual Safety and Health Conference (October 20-22, 2025) is geared towards awareness and sharing information about the hazards and risks inherent in the firefighting profession to collectively strategize on how to change, improve or curb those issues so first responders can live the healthiest and longest lives possible. Topics include but are not limited to: hazards exposure, contamination, mental health, risk of cancer, injury prevention, nutrition, physical fitness and resources available to first responders to address these various concerns.
The educational program is two full days concluding with a half-day featuring topics and speakers from a wide range of backgrounds. For a subject that may at times seem daunting, we strive through positive interaction, support and enthusiasm to emphasize firefighter well-being in the Fire Service.
The vendor opportunity at this event is a 2-day vendor showcase of six foot tables in the public meeting space.
The Florida Fire & EMS Conference (January 5-9, 2026) seeks to become a leading provider of fire and EMS education, hands-on-training and vendor network by creating an event for the fire service community that actively addresses the current needs of the industry. Currently hosted in Orlando, Florida known for its extensive offering for leisure and entertainment, the Florida Fire & EMS Conference is more than education or an event – it is an experience.
The Florida Fire & EMS Conference will have something for everyone. In addition to hands-on fireground training, we have three days of keynote sessions, lectures and workshops for both many different functions within the Fire Service such as Fire Marshals, Public Information Officers and Emergency Vehicle Technicians.
Formerly known as Fire-Rescue EAST, this event is the largest conference and tradeshow in the southeast United States. After twelve years in Daytona Beach, Florida, attendees and exhibitors called for a change in destination. The Florida Fire & EMS Conference was born to represent the next evolution of this conference which intends to maintain our long-standing and successful programs while adapting our offerings to appeal and provide access to the first responders of tomorrow.
