My fire service career began in 1986, as a volunteer fire fighter. In 1990, I became a career fire fighter with the City of Seminole Fire Rescue Department. During my time at SFR, I served as a driver, lieutenant, District Chief and retired as the Training Chief. I served on a number of committees, including the Department Health and Safety committee where I served as the Chair. In addition, to the various committees and teams within the SFR organization, I was a inaugural member of the Pinellas County Technical Rescue Team. I served on the Pinellas County Hazardous Materials Response Team for 20 years, the last five as a Deputy Commander and Commander. After retiring in 2016, I spent time as fire equipment sales rep. In 2019, began employment with Pasco County Fire Rescue. I served as the Division Chief, Supply Chief, and now as the Health, Safety and Training Chief.
