This presentation will describe the immediate and follow-up behavioral wellness response to the Surfside building collapse provided to USAR task force members who worked the recovery. At the end of the presentation, the participants should be able to:

1. Identify components of mental wellness provided during the ongoing search and recovery process;
2. Describe different mental health reactions that were reported in the months after demobilization
3. Identify specific subgroups that may be at higher risk for the development of mental health symptoms in the aftermath of the event.
