The Florida Fire Chiefs Association is excited to announce the Fire Rescue East 2020 Advanced Life Support (ALS) Competition to be held January 22-24, 2020, in Daytona Beach Florida.
 
The Fire-Rescue East ALS Competition has been re-engineered and will be the “Season Opener” for all of the Florida ALS competitions. The January competition will put the “Rescue” back in Fire-Rescue East by hosting two preliminary days of competition that will culminate in a challenging final scenario day. There will be three (3) scenarios for teams to manage and scoring will be cumulative.
 
The prestigious Florida Cup will become an annual award to the team that has accumulated the most points (best overall team) in the preceding year. The Florida Cup award will be presented during the 2020 Fire Rescue East Awards presentation on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.
 
The competition will begin Wednesday, January 22 in the afternoon, all day Thursday, January 23 and the finals will be held on Friday, January 24. Rules and instructions will be sent to the teams as the teams register.
